NAMI KDK's Family Support group is for those 18 and older who have a loved one living with a mental health condition.

NOTICE: We have added in-person (temporarily online) and online family support group options!

You will receive a link to the Zoom meeting from the programs email at least the day before the meeting. If you have any questions or want to confirm your registration, contact programs@namikdk.org.  

  

Per NAMI on-line support group recommendations we are asked to collect the following information on the registration page so that the support group facilitator has a means of contacting and supporting attendees if they are a danger to themselves or others. This demographic information is also used for our grant purposes. The information below will only be used by NAMI KDK and its support group facilitators for this purpose. Your information will not be sold or used in any other way.

    Family-to-Family is a free, 8 week educational program for family, significant others and friends (17 years of age and older) of individuals recovering from a mental health condition.

    BIPOC Support Group is for individuals 16 and older who are members of the Black, Indigenous, People of Color Community who are experiencing symptoms of a mental health condition

    Ending the Silence for Families is a free, one hour and fifteen minute presentation for family members supporting a loved one living with a mental health condition. This presentation would work well for parent groups at schools.

    Ending the Silence is a free, 50 minute education presentation provided to middle school and high school students.

    NAMI's Ending the Silence for Staff is a free 1 hour and 15 minute presentation designed to educate and support school teachers and staff.

    Join us for complimentary refreshments while learning about a mental health topic. Upcoming NAMI KDK classes, support groups, and advocacy efforts will also be highlighted. All are welcome to attend. Registration is suggested.
